David is a corporate lawyer with over 30 years of cross-jurisdictional experience in Asia and the United States advising on transactional, regulatory and compliance matters. He has significant market, product, and client knowledge, gained from working through several economic cycles with a wide array of corporations, financial institutions, governments, regulators, and investors.
David currently advises venture capital and strategic investors as well as executive and senior management on a variety of corporate and financing matters. He is also the general counsel of one of Greater China’s leading sports education and management companies. David has extensive experience in debt, equity, and equity-linked capital markets transactions and in other corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, privatizations, tender and exchange offers, and reorganizations. He also advises on corporate governance and U.S. securities law compliance matters.
David is a member of the National Committee on United States China Relations. He graduated from The University of the West Indies (LL.B.) and the New York University School of Law (J.D.) and he is admitted to the New York bar.
